Overpriced... →
I love beauty products just as much as the next girl (my friends would argue I love them a LOT more).  However…this product seems just a little, how should I put it—ridiculous?  The ingredients look fine, but I’m pretty sure you don’t need to spend $475 on face cream.  I can see up to $150 (if you have the extra $$), but still…compare the ingredients on the bottles...

US = Incarceration Nation
Over the past 3 decades, the number of prison inmates in the US has increased by more than 600%, leaving it the country with the highest incarceration rate in the world. —Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2002. Yes, we really are the Incarceration Nation. Should we change the laws and/or the system, or do we just have “worse” people?

West Coast knows how to party
That’s right, I’ve got the [Hollywoood] in my haaaands I think today is a west coast lovin kind of day (even though I’ve only been to LA for a layover and a 3-day trip and Tucson is not so coastal).  Waking up to California Lovin?  A definite must for a good day.  Waking up to 28* weather?  Not so necessary.  It’s days like this I ask myself why I shouldn’t make...
